Object DescriptionHebrew monthly magazine published by Histadruth Ivrit of America to appeal to broad audience of readers with an elementary knowledge of Hebrew. Cover illustration is Israeli woman soldier. In simple Hebrew, vocalized with difficult words translated at the end of each article. Illustrated. Articles about Jewish life all over the world, poems, humor, 16 pages. Found in the library of Camp Massad Aleph (now Camelback Ski Resort). Camp Massad was the first Hebrew language summer camp in the United States, founded 1941. The library building was used as a lending library, with scheduled visits by each division. It was also used by staff to prepare educational materials and for other purposes (see report).
