NotesThe shofar was found in a cabinet in the bimah of a synagogue in Nove Zamky, Czechoslovakia. Viola Wdowinsky went to Czechoslovakia the summer of 1990 to visit her hometown, Nove Zamky. She visited the synagogue there and the President of the synagogue, Jozef Donath (donor), gave her this shofar to donate to the museum. He said it was about 150 years old.
