Notes This copy belonged to Mitchell Kamen, donor's father who was living at 118 E. Main Street, Waterbury, Conn. He was in the dry goods business in Waterbury. Newspaper was founded by publisher Kasriel Sarasohn (1835-1905), born in Russia, he settled in NY, 1871. Encyclopedia Judaica, Vol. 14, pages 872-3 says he "maintained (the weekly) from 1891 to 1898, despite annual deficits." Another EJ article says the paper existed from 1892-98; 1901-02. The newspaper's editor was Gerson Rosenzweig.
