Object DescriptionBrass colored metal button with pin on back, with metallic orange enamel design of a bridge connecting the American and European continents. Letters HIAS centered on the bridge and repeated at edges where bridge seems to encircle the globe. Continents are orange; ocean blue, lettering darker blue. Donor may have been given the button before HIAS took them to be accommodated the night after coming to United States on the Marine Perch, arriving July 27, 1946.Keywords
