Object DescriptionSilver filigree spice box, door, flag on top, four legs. Screw added at top, not original. From Moravia, probably made in Brno. Silver mark. [notebook]

NotesBelonged to great great grandfather of Ida Apotheker, then to grandfather Lazarus Milchspeiser, 19th century. Grandfather moved to Trnava, Slovakia, died in flu epidemic 1918. Leopold Milchspeiser (b. 1905) came 1922 to US, went back in 1929, met Sari married her, stayed for 7 years, Ida was born 1931 in Czechoslovakia, family came to US in 1938. Milchspeiser was changed to Muller in the US. Screw has been there since at least 1938.
