NotesDebora Halberstam (now Spira, the donor), was born in Cracow in 1923. She eventually made it to Hungary, where she and her siblings obtained tickets for the Kasztner transport. These prints were given to her in Switzerland by the architect Irsai. (She was friendly with Irsai’s wife.) Mrs. Spira went on the group that left Bergen-Belsen for Switzerland in December
