Object DescriptionFirst prize certificate at mixed doubles ping-pong tournament to Miss [Ruth] Nathan and Mr Katz, of the Mönchengladbach sports group, at the tournament for the West German table tennis championship in Duisburg, Germany, signed by Director L.Meyer. Ivory background with gold Gothic lettering of the words "Urkunde" (attestation) and in red and gold, "1. Preis" [first prize], with gold border design around the words first prize. Green illustration at top center of two boys playing table tennis, concentrating intently, slamming ball to each other. Green oak leaves and acorns are on either side of the round picture. Balance of printing in black.
