Object DescriptionPrinted mizrach (possibly lithographed), colored with vignettes of holy places in Palestine. Vignettes are captioned in Hebrew, text along bottom in German translates to: Views of holy places and tombs of famous prophets and outstanding men who worked for the betterment of mankind. Donor believes this was a wedding present to his parents from his material grandmother. The marriage took place in Flehingen, Germany in 1910. It was hung on the east wall of their home in Germany and also in New York.
