Object DescriptionAhnenpass [Certificate of Aryan identity], booklet, approx. 25 pages. Nazi eagle, Swastika and "Ahnenpass" in Gothic German letters on front cover. An Ahnenpass was used by families in Nazi Germany to register each family member's heritage and religious affiliation. When couples married, they were presented with an Ahnenpass by the civil authorities.
